Estimate & Work Order Terms & Conditions
By approving this estimate/work order (via text, email, or other written confirmation), the customer acknowledges and agrees to the following Terms & Conditions.
1. Estimates

Estimates are based on the information available at the time of inspection.

Final costs may vary depending on actual labor, parts, and unforeseen issues discovered during service.

Customers will be notified of any significant changes in cost before additional work is performed.
2. Authorization of Work
-
By approving this estimate/work order, the customer authorizes Proper Emoto Co. to perform the listed services and supply parts as needed.
-
No additional work will be completed without customer approval.
3. Parts & Materials
-
Parts may include OEM or aftermarket components, depending on availability and customer preference.
-
Special order parts may require full or partial payment in advance.
-
All parts remain the property of Proper Emoto Co. until paid in full.
4. Labor & Service
-
Labor is billed at the agreed hourly or flat rate outlined in the estimate.
-
Mobile service fees apply and are non-refundable once the technician arrives on site.
-
Proper Emoto Co. technicians will perform all work to industry standards but make no guarantee against damage caused by improper use, accidents, or third-party modifications.
5. Payment Terms
-
Payment is due in full upon completion of service unless otherwise agreed in writing.
-
Accepted payment methods: cash, credit/debit card, electronic transfer (as applicable).
-
Late payments may be subject to additional fees.
Full Service & Safety Waiver
6. Assumption of Risk
-
Customer understands that operating, modifying, servicing, and charging e-motos/e-bikes involves risks of injury, death, fire, and property damage.
-
Customer accepts these risks and agrees to use appropriate PPE and safe operating practices at all times.
7. Battery & Electrical Acknowledgment
-
Lithium-ion systems can enter thermal runaway from damage, defects, misuse, or charging/storage conditions.
-
Customer agrees to follow Proper Emoto Co.’s Safety Guidelines (Section 10) and manufacturer instructions; use only listed/compatible chargers; never charge unattended; and stop use if a pack is damaged, swollen, hot, leaking, hissing, or smells unusual.
8. Scope of Work
-
Services are limited to items listed on the estimate/invoice.

We may decline or stop work if unsafe conditions exist.
9. Customer-Supplied Parts/Mods
-
No warranty is made regarding parts not supplied by Proper Emoto Co.
-
Customer is responsible for compatibility, safety compliance, and any resulting issues.
10. Limited Warranty (Workmanship)
-
Proper Emoto Co. provides a 30-day workmanship warranty for labor we performed only.
-
Excludes: wear items, abuse/misuse, racing/stunts, water ingress, corrosion, impact damage, or altered wiring/settings after pickup.
-
Manufacturer warranties apply to new parts where available.
11. Safety Guidelines (Charging/Storage/Use)
-
Charge in a clear area away from flammables; never charge unattended.
-
Use listed/compatible charger and cords; plug directly into a wall outlet; avoid cheap/unlisted chargers.
-
Keep batteries at room temperature; don’t charge when hot or below freezing; avoid crushed/dented packs.
-
Monitor for odor, swelling, smoke, hissing, or heat; if present, move the device away from combustibles only if safe and call 911.
-
Store/transport to prevent puncture, crushing, or shorting; cover exposed terminals; avoid water intrusion.
12. Limitation of Liability
-
Maximum recovery is limited to the amount paid for the specific service.
-
No liability for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages.
-
This waiver does not waive rights that cannot be waived under Arizona law nor liability for gross negligence or willful misconduct.
13. Customer Responsibilities
-
Provide accurate information about the bike, prior modifications, and any known issues.
-
Ensure access to the bike at the scheduled service time.
-
Bikes must be reasonably clean and accessible for safe service.
14. Storage & Abandonment
-
Bikes left with Proper Emoto Co. beyond 7 days after service completion may be subject to daily storage fees.
-
After 30 days without payment or pickup, bikes may be considered abandoned and subject to lien or sale to recover costs.
15. Cancellations & Rescheduling
-
Appointments may be rescheduled with 24-hour notice.
-
Cancellations within 24 hours may be subject to a service call fee.
16. Customer Certification
-
By approving this estimate/work order, customer certifies that they have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions, including the Full Service & Safety Waiver.

Customer agrees to follow Proper Emoto Co.’s Safety Guidelines and assumes responsibility for safe use and operation of their e-moto/e-bike.
